The Cognizant GenC program is designed to recruit talented engineering students for a wide range of roles based on technical skills and interest. It includes three categories:
- GenC – Entry-level programming role
- GenC Pro – Platform/product-specific skilled role
- GenC Next – Advanced full-stack and coding-intensive role
Each category offers different opportunities based on your skills, certifications, and interests.

💰 Salary Package:
- CTC Range: ₹4 LPA to ₹6.75 LPA
(Depending on the role – GenC, GenC Pro, or GenC Next)
📝 Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduation Year: 2025
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech (except Fashion Tech, Food Tech, Leather Tech, etc.)
- Minimum 60% in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG (no rounding off 59.9%)
- No active backlogs at the time of joining
- Must be an Indian national or OCI residing in India
- Must be flexible to work in any location, shift, or technology
🔧 Skills & Role Requirements
GenC Role:
- Basic understanding of SDLC, Agile, and coding fundamentals
- Familiarity with testing and debugging
- Strong communication and documentation skills
GenC Pro:
- Platform/technology expertise in:
- Cybersecurity, Salesforce, Oracle, SAP ABAP, SAP Basis, Mulesoft, Pega, ServiceNow
- Must have industry-accredited certificates
GenC Next:
- Advanced programming and full-stack development skills
- Certification in technologies like:
- Java, Python, C#, Spring Boot, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, AWS, Azure, etc.
- Strong DSA and OOP knowledge required
